How to implement PDCIS

Find out about our systematization, and how PDCIS operates: a social program with proven impacts.

PDCIS, our social program had its impact evaluated in 2018. With scientific rigor, the real impacts generated in the beneficiaries` lives were measured, showing that the program is a social technology that should gain scale, becoming a self-sustainable model for reapplication.

Therefore, having proven its impacts, we realized that this technology could be adapted in other regions, meeting the demands of institutions and social investors. Produced and launched in 2020, the publication “How to implement PDCIS”, available only in Portuguese, systematizes the program, and makes our social technology available, to positively contribute in other unequal contexts, as our founder, Norberto Odebrecht, desired.

Coordinated and constructed by our team, the project involved the contributions of various professionals, including specialized reviewers, and began in 2019 with a review of our document archives.

Find out more about the publication

“How to implement PDCIS” is divided into two main modules:

  • Conceptual module, which presents the fundamental topics of our activities, such as juvenile protagonism; sustainable development; participative governance, and the guiding bases of Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology, and
  • The programming module, which presents the practices of our social program, organized in a step-by-step format, which facilitates its adaptation and reapplication.

There are two versions of the publication:

  • Reapplication version, with access using a password for those interested in reapplying our social technology. This version provides the full systematization, including the step-by-step opening of all the practices, and working documents that support its application.
  • Free access visibility version. This version presents the content without the step-by-step opening and working documents. Click here to find out more!
